THE EDUCATION EMERGENCY
31 million girls globally are denied their right to education and more than 500 million girls will drop out before completing their basic education. The goal of getting every child into school and giving them a quality education will not be achieved without addressing the barriers that discriminate against girls.
Celebrate this International Women’s Day #IWD2015 by joining these Global campaigners at the Women of the World Festival in their mission to stand #UpForSchool and secure a future where every girl around the world is educated and empowered to reach her full potential. Sign the #UpForSchool petition at theupforschool.org. #MakeItHappen
